Motorists punished for road offences
THE following drivers were dealt with by magistrates in Derbyshire for road offences.
■Ashley Bryan, 32, of Shakespeare Street, Sinfin, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Macauley Street, Derby, on May 3.
■Finlay Chambers, 59, of Regent Street, Long Eaton, was fined £135 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Regent Street, Long Eaton, on May 24.
■Richard Edges, 35, of Loscoe Road, Chaddesden, was fined £440 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance on the A38 at Lower Hartshay, on April 9.
■Martin Polak, 37, of Young Street, Derby, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Stenson Road, Derby, on May 19.
■Dale Swierszek, 29, of Swallowdale Road, Derby, was fined £660 and given eight penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Aviemore Way, Sinfin, on June 17.
■Phillip Johnson, 28, of The Triangle, Ilkeston, was fined £120 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Granby Street, Ilkeston, on April 30.
■Aamir Qureshi, 34, of St Stephen’s Court, Woodville, was fined £220 for driving without a valid licence in Main Street, Ticknall, on May 22.
■Terry Allen, 51, of Newtonwood Lane, Newton, Alfreton, was fined £220 and given six penalty points for driving while using a mobile phone in Bank Road, Matlock, on March 18.
■Tammy Bostock-Wright, 22, of Vincent Street Derby, was fined £660 and given six points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Derby Road, Swanwick, on June 2.
■Henry Pearson, 28, of Derby Road, Swanwick, was fined £338 and given six points for driving without due care and attention and without insurance in Ripley Road, Belper, on July 29.
■Stephen Ntseyaw, 62, of Cameron Road, Derby, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid MOT certificate in Lawrence Street, Derby, on June 8.
■John Wardlaw, 69, of Elm Tree Avenue, Kilburn, was fined £660 and ordered to pay £110 costs and a £66 victim surcharge for driving without due care and attention, failing to stop following an accident and failing to report and accident in Repton Road, Willington, on August 13.
