Drivers given penalty points for speeding

THE following motorists had their licences endorsed with penalty points by Southern Derbyshire Magistrates for speeding.

■Matas Audickas, 25, of Portland Street, Pear Tree, was fined £220 and given four penalty points for speeding at 38mph in a 30mph limit in Osmaston Road, Derby, on April 30.

■Luke Fletcher, 26, of Nottingham Road, Ripley, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for speeding at 58mph in a 30mph limit in Old Road, Heage, on May 5.

■ ■Leon Harrison, 39, of Oversetts Road, Newhall, was fined £40 and given three penalty points for speeding at 70mph in a 60mph limit on the M1 at Tibshelf, on April

30.

■ ■Rebecca Hayburn, 39, of Earls Drive, Stenson Fields, was fined £236 and given three penalty points for speeding at 38mph in a 30mph limit in Blagreaves Lane, Derby, on April 30.

■ ■Gurshane Mandir, 21, of Rona Close, Derby, was fined £97 and given three penalty points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Grampian Way, Sinfin, on June 4.

■Christopher Moore, 38, of Stirland Street, Codnor, was fined £40 and given three penalty points for speeding at 52mph in a 40mph limit on the M1 at Breaston on April 30.

■Paul Nelson, 42, of Bridge Street, Sandiacre, was fined £69 and given three penalty points for speeding at 38mph in a 30mph limit in Derby Road, Sandiacre, on June 21.

■ ■Aman Parveez, 28, of Penrhyn Avenue, Derby, was fined £120 and given seven penalty points for two counts of speeding at 38mph and 45mph in a 30mph limit in Blagreaves Lane, Derby, both on April 30.

■ ■Darren Price, 53, of Repton Road, Sawley, was fined £220 and given three penalty points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Tamworth Road, Sawley, on May 1.

■ ■Satinder Rooprai, 37, of Hill Cross Avenue, Derby, was fined £440 and given four penalty points for speeding at 45mph in a 30mph limit in Blagreaves Lane, Derby, on April 30.

■ ■Lee Saunders, 47, of London Road, Derby, was fined £220 and given three penalty points for speeding at 38mph in a 30mph limit in Blagreaves Lane, Derby, on April 30.

■Ibrahim Sherif, 30, of Empress Road, Normanton, was fined £40 and given three penalty points for speeding at 37mph in a 30mph limit in Blagreaves Lane, Derby, on April 30.
