RAMS RATINGS

-

DAVID MARSHALL 6

The keeper, who wore the captain’s armband in the absence of the injured Curtis Davies, had nothing to do in the first half. He made two decisive punches clear in the second half.

Supplemented attacks in the first half, not so much in the second as Derby had a two-goal lead. He is looking more confident than he did a few weeks ago.

Solid performance, good talking and organising at the back. Centreback his best position.

MATT CLARKE 7.5

Excellent defensive display by the centre-back.

Growing into the left-back position.

Saw his 20-yard drive touched on to a post by the keeper in the first half, another display full of desire to cover ground and compete.

Calm, composed, controlling matters. A ‘Rolls-Royce’ in midfield, especially in the first half. The Polish international has made a huge difference since returning from injury

Key role in setting the tempo for Derby’s fast start and performance in the first half. Ferocious appetite for graft

Assist for Derby’s second goal, good to see him back in the side. Works hard for the team, whether up front or in his best position on the right.

Early goal gave Derby a dream start and he almost had a second when his header crashed against the bar. His strength and experience has played a big part in Derby’s unbeaten run.

KAMIL JOZWIAK 7

Bright, lively, a threat. His first goal for Derby was a cracker.
