Drink-drivers banned from the roads

THE following motorists have been banned from the roads after being caught drink-driving.

■Samantha Calladine, 33, of Finchley Avenue, Mackworth, was jailed for eight weeks, suspended for a year, fined £1,000 and banned for 30 months for drink-driving in Finchley Avenue, Mackworth, on July 18. She had 131 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.

■Jair Emilio, 24, of Shaftesbury Crescent, Pear Tree, was fined £323 and banned for 22 months for drinkdriving and for not having a licence or insurance in Osmaston Road, Derby, on June 17. He had 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

■Clare Noble, 51, of The Green, Clipstone, Market Harborough, was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 18 months, and banned for 48 months for drink-driving in Kedleston Road, Derby, on January 8, 2020. She had 138 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

■Barry Trenczyn, 65, of Lumsdale Crescent, Matlock, was handed a community order, with four weeks’ curfew, and banned for 20 months for drink-driving in Lilybank Close, Matlock, on September 20. He had 70 micrograms of alcohol.

■Samuel Johnson, 29, of Corporation Road, Ilkeston, was fined £461 and banned for 20 months for drink-driving in Greenwood Avenue, Ilkeston, on October 4. He had 88 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.

■Michael Hennessy, 34, of North Street, Langley Mill, was fined £120 and banned for 14 months for drinkdriving in Belper Road, Stanley Common, on June 22. He had 55 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

■Ashley Noon, 28, of High Lane West, West Hallam, was fined £490 and banned for a year for drinkdriving and careless driving on the A608 in Heanor on June 30. He had 45 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

■Mark Clephane, 57, of Victory Close, Long Eaton, was fined £120 and banned for 20 months for drinkdriving in Victory Close, Long Eaton, on October 6. He had 81 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

■Delphine Moffor, 41, of Gertrude Road, Derby, was fined £330 and banned for 12 months for drinkdriving in Gertrude Road, Derby, on May 8. She had 125 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood when the legal limit is 80.

■Paramjit Oberoi, 66, of Littleover Lane, Derby, was fined £186 and banned for 18 months for drinkdriving in Osmaston Park Road, Derby, on November 17, 2019. She had 193 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
