Will Trump answer for all his outrages?

-

NO-ONE following US politics over the past 12 months could be surprised at last week’s riots at the Capitol.

Well before election day in November, Trump, having seen he was losing in the polls, began to put out lies about a fixed vote.

When the result delivered for Biden the ground had been well prepared to call ‘rigged’. Thus the crowd of idiots, white supremacists and neo-Nazis (and that isn’t an overstatement - one wore the slogan ‘Six Million Wasn’t Enough’) urged on by the vilest man ever to infect American politics were only doing what their leader wanted. All

Trump admirers are now aligning themselves with these people! One insurgent screamed ‘This is a revolution’ and was then outraged and appalled when she was teargassed. This demonstrates the mentality of Trump supporters

A revealing fact emerged after the riot when a presidential advisor told a New York magazine reporter that Trump was irritated by the scenes simply because they looked ‘low class’. The advisor explained ‘He doesn’t like low class things’. Well of course - it’s common knowledge that all populist leaders actually despise their followers.

It remains to be seen when his presidential immunity is ended in a few days whether he will answer for the many outrages committed during his term.

There seems to be a queue of people attempting to get him into court. What’s the jail term for inciting a riot - 10 maybe 15 years? I fervently hope that his next abode is a lot less sumptuous than the Whitehouse. Phil Garner, Littleover
