RAMS RATINGS
KELLE ROOS 5
Very little to do for much of the game in only his second League start of the season. Could he have been more dominant just before Rotherham scored?
NATHAN BYRNE 6
Saw enough of the ball but, as with Lee Buchanan, he did not see a forward pass early enough. Kept looking to drive forward from right-back and supplement attacks.
ANDRE WISDOM 5
Vital block close to his own goal to deny Rotherham the lead late on but looked uncertain at times in the first half.
MATT CLARKE 5
Looked very tentative early on, better in the second half.
LEE BUCHANAN 5
A really poor 10 minutes in the first half from the left-back, in which he gave the ball away too often, culminated in a yellow card for a rash challenge on Jamie Lindsay. He did not, at times, see a forward pass early enough. Was denied by a fine save from the Rotherham keeper. More positive in the second half, with and without the ball.
JASON KNIGHT 5
Captain in the absence of keeper David Marshall, quite an honour for the 19-year-old. Full of energy and effort, as always, but gave away the free kick that led to Rotherham’s goal.
KRYSTIAN BIELIK 5
On the periphery of things in the opening 45 minutes, not his usual influential self, took a heavy knock to his arm but was able to continue. Fortunate not to pick up a second yellow card in the second half, replaced after 66 minutes.
GRAEME SHINNIE 7
Early strike pushed away by the keeper, Derby’s best player in the first half and continued with his energy and selfless work in the second.
MARTYN WAGHORN 4
Back in the side after a threematch ban. Quiet first half, put a chance narrowly wide in the second.
COLIN KAZIM-RICHARDS 4
Isolated in the first half, no service, which did not help the centre forward, but could not get a hold of the ball to help build up play.
KAMIL JOZWIAK 4
Lifted a chance over the bar, busy on the ball without an end product. He has to improve his end product, he has to make decisions earlier, wasteful in good situations.
