Drivers are fined for no seatbelts
THE following motorists were fined for not wearing a seatbelt by magistrates in Derbyshire.
■■ John Laud, 44, of The Bee Hives, Newhall, was fined £220 with £85 costs and a £34 surcharge for driving while not wearing a seat belt in High Street, Swadlincote, on July 1.
■■Benn Laverick, 39, of Hill Street, Burton, was fined £40 with £90 costs and a £34 surcharge for driving while not wearing a seat belt in High Street, Newhall, on July 1.
■■Craig Stacey, 40, of Howarth Close, Long Eaton, was fined £220 with £90 costs and a £34 surcharge for driving while not wearing a seat belt in Derby Road, Long Eaton, on July 3.
■■Steven Wheldon, 38, of Winster Road, Chaddesden, was fined £220 with £90 costs and a £34 surcharge for driving while not wearing a seat belt in Harvey Road, Derby, on July 1.
■■Sam Croft, 21, of Berkshire Street, Chaddesden, was fined £40 with £90 costs and a £34 victim for driving while not wearing a seat belt on the A38, in Derby, on July 18.
THE following motorists were fined for speeding by magistrates in Derbyshire.
■■Peter Horvat, 47, of Leacroft Road, Derby, was fined £220 and given three points for speeding at 37mph in a 30mph limit in Osmaston Road, Derby, on June 23.
■■Osman Ibrahim, 35, of Parker Street, Derby, was fined £223 and given five points for speeding at 44mph in a 30mph limit in Osmaston Road, Derby, on June 12.
■■Bahman Kadir, 37, of Grange Avenue, Derby, was fined £45 and given three points for speeding at 68mph in a 60mph limit on the M1 at Tibshelf, on June 21.
■■Anam Khan, 30, of Uttoxeter New Road, Derby, was fined £220 and given three points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Osmaston Road, Derby, on June 16.
■■Danika Lawrence, 26, of Boulton Lane, Derby, was fined £220 and given three points for speeding at 58mph in a 50mph limit in Raynesway, Alvaston, on June 26.
■■Macauley Needham, 25, of Old Hall Avenue, Littleover, was fined £443 and given four points for speeding at 43mph in a 30mph limit on the A6 in Duffield, on July 11.
