Drink-drivers disqualified

EDWARD Takavarasha, 53, of Windsor Avenue, Littleover, was fined £300 and ordered to pay £85 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for three years for drink-driving in Lara Croft Way, Derby, on August
8. A test saw him blow a reading of 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.
■■Chris Tree, 50, of Montague Road, Stockport, was fined £980 and ordered to pay £85 costs, a £98 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for 18 months for drink-driving in Belper Road, Holbrook, on March 19, 2020. A test saw him blow a reading of 68 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
■■John Tristram, 40, of Sparrow Close, Sinfin, was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs, a £32 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for 20 months for drink-driving in Baker Street, Alvaston, on March 21, 2020. A test saw him blow a reading of 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
■■Craig Hadley, 37, of Chrysanthemum Court, Newhall, was fined £346 and ordered to pay £85 costs, a £47 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for 14 months for drink-driving in South Drive, Newhall, on August 7. A test saw him blow a reading of 42 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
■■Joseph Shore, 31, of Peasehill Road, Ripley, was fined £500 and ordered to pay £85 costs, a £50 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for three years for drink-driving in Heage Road, Ripley, on July 7. A test saw him give a reading of 86 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood when the legal limit is 80.
■■Craig Wood, 50, of Crow Croft Road, Pilsley, was fined £180 and was ordered to pay £150 costs, a £32 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for 18 months for drink-driving in Station Road, Hatton, on November 4, 2019. A test saw him blow a reading of 68 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.
■■Aaron Keane, 40, of Redland Close, Ilkeston, was jailed for 12 weeks and ordered to pay £85 costs, a £128 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for four years for drink-driving in Redland Close, Ilkeston, on September 10. A test saw him blow a reading of 129 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
