Vote 2021: Have your say
ON May 6 residents around Derbyshire will go to the polls to elect councillors to their local parishes, districts, boroughs and the county council.
On top of that, the race to be the next Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner is also under way, with votes to be cast on the same day.
And with so much for politicians in the county to play for, after such a tumultuous year, it has never been more important that you have your say on the issues that matter to you.
The Derby Telegraph will be covering the election every step of the way between now and May 6, and afterwards as the results come in.
As the campaigns get under way, we are asking our readers to get in touch to let us know what matters most to them and their communities.
We want you to have your say so that we can be your voice, and hold politicians in Derbyshire to account.
It might be the state of roads in your neighbourhood, development on the green belt, crime and policing, antisocial behaviour, schools, housing, or public transport. If it’s important to you, it’s important to us.
