Third man charged in murder probe
A THIRD man has been charged in connection with an suspected murder in Derbyshire.
Ricky Collins was found seriously injured in Westthorpe Road, Killamarsh on Monday, March 29 after reportedly being assaulted.
The 31-year-old, from Sheffield, had suffered stab wounds and later died in hospital. A murder investigation was subsequently launched.
On Tuesday, officers charged Bradley Ward, aged 24 with murder. He is from the Frecheville area of Sheffield. He appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrate’s Court yesterday and was remanded into custody. He is due to appear at Derby Crown Court on Friday.
A 29-year-old woman from Sheffield, who was arrested on Monday, has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Detectives are still appealing for help in finding a silver 59 plate Vauxhall Astra believed to be connected to the case.
They would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a similar vehicle parked in an unusual spot in the last few days, or offered a silver Astra for sale since 29 March.

Two men aged 43 and 44 have been charged with assisting an offender. A 16-year-old boy, who was arrested on suspicion of murder last week, has been bailed pending further inquiries.
