DERBY County are in Championship action on Saturday when they face leaders Norwich City at Pride Park Stadium.

The Rams have a long list of injuries as they prepare to take on Norwich, who thumped Huddersfield Town 7-0 on Tuesday night.

Lee Gregory, Martyn Waghorn, Matt Clarke and George Edmundson will all miss the game, while the Rams will check on Nathan Byrne and Jack Stretton.

Here’s the latest from the treatment room with what manager Wayne Rooney has said about them.

Lee Gregory (hamstring): Last game: Luton Town (h) on April 2.

Rooney: “It’s not great, he will be out for the majority of the season.”

Martyn Waghorn (hamstring): Last game: Luton Town (h), April 2.

Rooney: “Martyn Waghorn is not as bad (as Gregory), we are hoping to have him back in a week or two.”

Matt Clarke (groin): Last game: Luton Town (h), April 2.

Rooney: “Matt got a bang in his groin area and he will be out for a week or two. Hopefully, we can get him back as soon as possible.”

Nathan Byrne (head): Last game: Reading (a), April 5.

Byrne took a knock to his head during the first half of the Reading game and had to be replaced 10 minutes before the break.

Rooney: “I think there’s concus

sion with Nathan and, obviously, we can’t take any chances.”

George Edmundson (hernia): Last game: Millwall (h), March 13.

Rooney: “Before George came to us (on loan from Rangers) he had surgery on a hernia and he has a hernia on the other side.

“It is a decision we have to make whether he has surgery on it or not but I think he will be out for two or three weeks.”

Jack Stretton (ankle): Last game: Reading (a), April 5.

Rooney: “Jack was really struggling with his ankle, I don’t know if he rolled it or it was a kick. He was struggling and couldn’t continue.”

Jordon Ibe: Last game Stoke (h), Dec 12, as a substitute.

He has been out of the match-day squad since Boxing Day.

He took to social media website

Instagram in January to speak of his struggles with depression. He is currently training with the under-23s

The next under-23 fixture is against Arsenal on April 12. He has recently had a hamstring problem.

Krystian Bielik (knee): Last game: Bristol City (h), January 30.

The Polish international midfielder is out for the season after he suffered a second ACL injury in a little over a year.

He underwent surgery and is working through his rehabilitation.

Curtis Davies (Achilles tendon): Last game: Brentford (a), December 9.

The 35-year-old centre back is out for the season after rupturing his Achilles tendon in the goalless draw away to Brentford in December.

He underwent surgery and is working through his rehabilitation.
