RAMS RATINGS

-

KELLE ROOS 7.5

Big save from Ikpeazu in the first half and a couple of fine stops in the second half. Strong all-round performance.

NATHAN BYRNE 6

Not involved going forward as much as usual, steady defensively.

PHIL JAGIELKA 8

Oozed know-how. Calm, composed, excellent positional play and awareness in the centre-back role. Stood strong in a battle with Ikpeazu in the second half,

CURTIS DAVIES 7

Gave as good as he got in a physical battle.

CRAIG FORSYTH 7

Looked to push on from left-back and saw an effort held by Lumley. Battled well against Ikpeazu when the striker drifted into the channel.

MAX BIRD 7.5

Got himself further forward on a few occasions and was twice denied by Lumley in the first half, first from a curling free kick and then from a tight angle. Another good performance.

GRAEME SHINNIE 7.5

Tenacious in mdfield, two crunching tackles within a minute in the first half had the Rams fans cheering. Excellent first half from him.

LOUIE SIBLEY 6

Denied by a fine save by Lumley in the second half. Put in a shift but drifted in and out of the game.

RAVEL MORRISON 6.5

When on the ball he used it well with control and calmness but also had quiet spells during the game.

KAMIL JOZWIAK 6

Worked hard for the team and won three headers defensively in the opening 45 minutes – not really his game but important for the team. Got into good positions a couple of times in which he needed to be more positive.

SAM BALDOCK 6

Busy, looked to dart in behind Middlesbrough’s defence. Saw an effort from an angle kept out by Joe Lumley late in the first half. SUBSTITUTES:

JACK STRETTON (FOR SIBLEY, 64) 6

Sent a shot fizzing wide late on Louie Watson (for Baldock, 71) 6, Lee Buchanan (for Jozwiak, 83)
