RAMS RATINGS

-

KELLE ROOS 6

Had very little to do in the first half as Forest rarely threatened. The timing and direction of some of his clearances early in the second half brought a few edgy moments, although Derby did play the ball back to him too many times. Brilliant save to deny Lewis Grabban kept Derby level but could have done better when Johnson’s strike flashed under him.

NATHAN BYRNE 7

Solid game at right-back. Much better defending from him in one-on-one situations.

PHIL JAGIELKA 7

One mistake in the first half that offered Lyle Taylor half a chance but once again calm and in control at the back.

CURTIS DAVIES 7

He is forming a very good centreback partnership with Jagielka.

CRAIG FORSYTH 7

What a pass for Lawrence’s goal – a raking, defence-splitting 40-yarder.

MAX BIRD 8

Excellent in the first half, very good in the second. Made good angles to receive the ball and used it well. He also broke up Forest’s play on quite a few occasions.

GRAEME SHINNIE 7

Right in the thick of the battle in midfield. Tenacious and effective.

RAVEL MORRISON 7

Mr Cool in the heart of an East Midlands derby clash. Oozed quality on the ball and worked hard off it but there were two or three times he could have released the ball/pass earlier in good situations.

LOUIE SIBLEY 6.5

Good first 45 minutes when he was constantly involved and troubled Forest. In and out of the game in the second half.

KAMIL JOZWIAK 7

He is currently showing his best form in a Derby shirt. He is working hard on and off the ball and linked well with Morrison and Lawrence.

TOM LAWRENCE 8

Back after missing three matches due to injury – and back with a bang as he thumped Derby ahead with a fine finish. A real threat in the first half and denied a second goal by Samba after the break before he limped off.

SUBSTITUTES: JACK STRETTON (FOR LAWRENCE, 67) 6

Really good chance fell to him after he came on.

LEE BUCHANAN (FOR JOZWIAK, 81) N/A
