Drivers given points for speeding

THE following motorists had their licences endorsed with penalty points by Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court for speeding.

■■Anjam Ali, 39, of Lower Dale Road, Normanton, was fined £230 and given four points for driving at 41mph in a 30mph limit in London Road, Derby, on January 15, 2021.

■■Constantin Bantas, 29, of Nottingham Road, Ripley, was fined £220 and given three points for driving at 87mph in a 70mph limit on the A38 at Ripley, on February 20, 2021.

■■Elizabeth Botton, 50, of Derby Road, Borrowash, was fined £220 and given three points for driving at 60mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby, on December 27, 2020.

■■Jeremy Curran, 43, of Sheffield Place, Derby, was fined £197 and given three points for driving at 37mph in a 30mph limit in Littleover, on January 71.

■■Connor Dughan, 23, of Sunnyside, Newhall, was fined £115 and given three points for driving at 40mph in a 30mph limit in Newhall, on February 13.

■■Andrew Dunne, 26, of Thorn Tree Lane, Newhall, was fined £100 and given three points for driving at 37mph in a 30mph limit in Midway, on January 22.

■■Kelly Grainger, 44, of Farneworth Road, Mickleover, was fined £440 and given four points for driving at 66mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby, on December 11.

■■Amy Guy, 36, of Welshpool Road, Chaddesden, was fined £112 and given six points for driving at 50mph in a 30mph limit in Draycott, on January 8.

■■Michael Johnson, 29, of Avocet Drive, Willington, was fined £220 and given three points for driving at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Littleover, on January 12.

■■Robert Kozluk, 43, of Avenue Road, Duffield, was fined £220 and given three points for driving at 57mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby, on January 16.

■■Luca Pendroncelli , 20, of London Road, Derby, was fined £300 and given six points for driving at 87mph in a 50mph limit in Raynesway, on January 14.

■■Gemma Perry, 39, of Moorway Lane, Derby, was fined £245 and given three points for driving at 63mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby on December 17.

■■Lucy Sheeran, 50, of Leapley Lane, Yeaveley, Ashbourne, was fined £133 and given three points for driving at 59mph in a 50mph limit on the A515 at Darley Moor, on January 16.

■■Muhammed Tufail, 37, of Dale Road North, Darley Dale, was fined £80 and given five points for driving at 70mph in a 50mph limit in Matlock, on February 5, 2021.
