Cocktail couple enjoy a taste of success
FOR many people, the thought of starting up a new business during the pandemic would have seen them running for the hills.
But not for Derbyshire couple Chloe Moss and Richard Mount, who opened the doors for her business earlier in 2021.
The Blind Badger Cocktail Company has now been given the accolade of being one of the 100 small businesses picked to be showcased in the run-up to Small Business Saturday.
Founded in March 2021, the company hand-picks and delivers to your door premium cocktail kits allowing customers to have their favourite tipple to help celebrate a birthday, an anniversary or just a good old-fashioned dinner party.
It’s now been included in a list of the Small Biz 100 line-up, which showcases inspiring, independent businesses from across the country.
Chloe, who is the business manager and has lived in Chesterfield for the past 14-years, said: “We were inspired by challenges we all faced during the pandemic to create a business to help to bring people together.
“Whether that be a date night, a family get together or a catch up with your ‘besties’, and our cocktails being the catalyst that enables this.
“We have purposefully tried to work with other small businesses whilst building our brand and we’re looking forward to making more connections through the Small Biz network.
“We have some special offers coming up throughout the 100 days in celebration of our place in the scheme, which will be shared on our social media pages, and we’re really excited to get involved in the opportunities that Small Biz 100 2021 will offer.”
The Blind Badger Cocktail Company will be showcased on September, 7 via social media as part of the 100-day countdown to Small Business Saturday.
Now in its ninth year, Small Business Saturday takes place on December, 4 and this year will be focused on businesses who have a passion for sustainability and the tackle against climate change.
