RAMS RATINGS

-

KELLE ROOS 4

Made a good save to deny Lukas Jutkiewicz on Birmingham’s goal before Scott Hogan scored. His distribution in the first half could have been better at times and he looked uncertain with the ball at his feet in the second half.

NATHAN BYRNE 6

Defended well and tenaciously for much of the game and tried to get forward when he could.

PHIL JAGIELKA 5

For the first time since joining the Rams he looked shaky at times, especially in the first half. Stronger in the second half.

CURTIS DAVIES 5

When Lee Buchanan passed the ball back he seemed to be caught in two minds and this allowed Jutkiewicz to nip in and then Hogan scored.

LEE BUCHANAN 5

His back pass put Derby in all sorts of trouble for Birmingham’s goal in the first half. Storming run and cross in the second half asked a question of the keeper, who clawed the ball away.

MAX BIRD 6

Neat and tidy when Derby had a grip on the game and battled away right to the end.

GRAEME SHINNIE 4

Never got himself in the game in the opening 45 minutes, picked up a silly booking and was replaced for the second half.

LOUIE SIBLEY 5

Started brightly but drifted out of the game. Better in the second half, rifled a shot over from a tight angle.

RAVEL MORRISON 6

Good on the ball in the opening 30 minutes if playing a bit too deep. He dropped into a central midfield role for the second half when Shinnie was replaced. Showed plenty of desire and kept trying to get Derby playing.

TOM LAWRENCE 6

Forced two saves from Matija Sarkic. The one Derby player who really threatened the Birmingham goal.

SAM BALDOCK 5

Grafted without reward and plugged away all game without working the home keeper.

SUBSTITUTES JACK STRETTON (FOR SHINNIE, 46) 5

Willing worker but not easy for a striker when Derby created little.

DYLAN WILLIAMS (FOR SIBLEY, 81)

JASON KNIGHT (FOR LAWRENCE, 83)
