A NEW store stocking formal menswear from a wide range of well-known brands will open at Derbion next week.

SD Home of Menswear will open on Level 2 of the city shopping centre on Wednesday.

Selling suits, accessories and casualwear, the 1,260 sq ft. store will stock brands including Ted Baker, Ben Sherman, House of Cavani, Racing Green, Limehaus and Jeff Banks. There will also be one-to-one appointments available for those seeking a more personalised approach when choosing a new suit.

Store manager Stacey Holler said: “The team in Derby is delighted to open our doors and welcome new customers after a year of such uncertainty.

“We offer one-to-one appointments for those after a little more assistance and we’re always on hand to offer style advice whenever needed.”

SD Home of Menswear will be joined by women’s fashion accessories brand Accessorize, which is returning to the centre after leaving the city last year.

Adam Tamsett, general manager at Derbion, said: “We’re excited to welcome SD Home of Menswear to the centre and see the return of Accessorize.

“The team has been working hard to expand our fashion offering and we’re confident that the brands will be a big hit with our visitors.”

Accessorize will return to Derbion when it takes up a unit on Level 1, opposite Boots, at a date still to be revealed.

The retailer previously traded from Level 2 before it left the centre, in January last year. It is taking up the unit which was formerly occupied by gadget and gift shop Menkind before it moved to a new location on Level 1 last month.

In other Derbion news, Spanish fashion brand Mango opened its new store on Level 2 yesterday. It offers a range of women’s fashion and accessories, plus menswear, childrenswear and homeware.

And earlier in the week, longstanding Derby skateboarding and streetwear retailer Rollersnakes opened a new pop-up shop at the centre.
