Reality TV series finalists will sashay into city in 2022 for live extravaganza
A TOUR celebrating the third series of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK will be coming to Derby Arena next autumn, it has been announced.
Cast members from the show will be “sashaying” into Derby Arena for an “endless extravaganza” on Thursday, September 22, next year.
The tour will be the second visit from the reality series and will follow on from the show’s sell-out series two tour, which will take place this coming spring.
The latest tour will feature series three finalists Kitty ScottClaus, Krystal Versace, Vanity Milan, and Ella Vaday.
The queens will battle it out tomorrow in the series finale with one being crowned the UK’s next drag superstar.
The winning queen will get the chance to fly to Hollywood and create a mini-series with the producers of the award-winning reality show.
Ru Paul’s Drag Race first aired in the US back in 2009 and now has various spin-off TV series across the globe, including the UK series shown on BBC Three.
The show sees a group of drag queens battle it out in a knockoutstyle competition of fashion, singing, dancing, and acting challenges over a number of weeks.
Each week the two bottom queens with the lowest performance are forced to “lip-sync for their lives” to stay in the competition.

“Such was the demand for sales for the first tour when we announced it earlier this year that we have decided to get everything in place for the series three tour now.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is an exciting show and we can’t wait to witness what will undoubtedly be many incredible and outrageous nights of live entertainment in venues across the UK.”
Tickets for the Official RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series Three Tour start at £37 each and can be bought on presale from tomorrow for existing Derby Live customers.
General sale will launch on Friday at 10am and tickets can be purchased from the Derby Live website.
