Drivers are banned from the roads
THE following motorists were disqualified from driving by Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court for road offences.
■■Charlie Williamson, 29, of Brighton Road, Alvaston, was fined £100 and banned from driving for two months for speeding at 37mph in a 30mph limit in London Road, Derby, on December 22, 2020; at 61mph in a 50mph on the A52 in Derby on December 31, 2020 and at 57mph in a 50mph limit of the same stretch of road on January 11, 2021.
■■Carl Potts, 43, of Friar Gate, Derby, was fined £80 and banned from driving for six months for speeding at 65mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby on December 5, 2020 and for speeding at 61mph on the same road the following day.
■■Geoffrey Swan, 55, of Auriga Court, Chester Green, was fined £160 and banned from driving for six months for speeding at 62mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby on December 28, 2020.
■■Andreas Constantinou, 52, of Acresview Close, Derby, was fined £230 and banned from driving for six months for three counts of speeding at 65mph, 57mph and 68mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby on December 31, 2020 and on January 15 and 31, 2021.
■■Louie Watson, 20, of Ashbourne Road, Derby, was fined £216 and banned from driving for 28 days for three counts of speeding at 60mph, 65mph and 60mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby on December 29, 30 and 31, 2020.
■■Thomas Beal, 40, of Arthur Hind Close, Derby, was fined £486 and banned from driving for six months for four counts of speeding at above the 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby between January 6 and February 16, 2021.
■■Christopher Mason, 39, of Ormonde Street, Heanor, was fined £207 and banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance High Street, Loscoe, on September 13, 2020.
■■Maddie Parkes, 24, of Thorn Tree Lane, Newhall, was fined £110 and banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance in Civic Way, Swadlincote, on December 31, 2020.
■■Revel Pryce, 41, of Crewton Way, Alvaston, was fined £400 and banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance in Osmaston Road, Derby, on December 23, 2020.
