Designer village expansion continues as three more brands open stores
THREE new shops have opened at a designer outlet shopping village located about an hour’s drive from Derby.
Vans, Castore and Carhartt WIP have all opened their doors at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands in Cannock.
The trio has joined the likes of Nike, Ted Baker and Calvin Klein as stores shoppers can visit at the £160 million complex, which opened last April.
Centre manager Mike Thomas is delighted with the new additions.
Mr Thomas said: “We are thrilled to welcome three influential fashion brands to the centre.
“Vans remains one of the most prominent companies in casual fashion worldwide – with an established reputation for quality skate apparel and accessories running alongside its iconic checkboard footwear – a staple in every fashionistas’ wardrobe.
“Carhartt WIP, known for its authentic adaptations of American workwear, has become renowned for its staple pieces including sportsinspired sweatshirts, stylish outerwear and comfortable men’s and women’s clothing collections – another great addition to our growing mix of premium retailers.
“Finally, premium sportswear brand Castore has also opened its doors – the brand is famed for its luxury sportswear performance collections for men and women.”
Puma was also one of the latest stores to open, while Pizza Express was one of the latest restaurants to open at the site, joining Five Guys and Wagamama.
Other stores already open at the designer outlet include Adidas, Fred Perry, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Radley, Le Creuset and Yankee Candle.
Mr Thomas hopes 12 to 14 more stores will be open by mid-2022, before they look towards the expansion of the centre and the introduction of 50 more stores.
