RAMS RATINGS

-

RYAN ALLSOP 7

Brilliant one-handed save to keep out a header from Andy Carroll but could do nothing about Hoilett’s goal that put Reading ahead. Fortunate to get away with an error when attempting to clear shortly before half-time.

NATHAN BYRNE 7

Took a heavy knock early on but was able to continue after treatment. Seemed to get caught the wrong side of Hoilett when Reading went ahead. Pushed forward in the second half and put in a few testing crosses. Assist for Derby’s second goal when Davies headed in his cross.

PHIL JAGIELKA 7

He and Davies combined well to keep the ball out of Derby’s net after Allsop had saved Carroll’s header. A good old battle with Reading striker Carroll.

CURTIS DAVIES 8

Acrobatic clearance from close to Derby’s goal as Hoilett threatened. Battled away and popped up with a dramatic equaliser, what a header.

CRAIG FORSYTH 7

Made three important defensive headers early on up against Carroll, and got forward to supplement Derby attacks. Probably Derby’s best attacking outlet in the first half.

MAX BIRD 7

He and midfield partner Thompson worked hard all game.

LIAM THOMPSON 7

The youngster kept working selflessly for the team.

JASON KNIGHT 6

Grafted as usual, battled away but could have done more defensively at the back post on Reading’s second goal.

TOM LAWRENCE 6

Quiet in the first half, better and more of a threat in the second half. Was denied a goal by Southwood’s excellent save.

KAMIL JOZWIAK 6

Another steady display by the Polish international.

LUKE PLANGE 6

Saw his deflected shot saved by Southwood and headed over from six yards when he perhaps should have done better.

SUBSTITUTES FESTY EBOSELE (FOR FORSYTH, 57) 6 COLIN KAZIM-RICHARDS (FOR PLANGE, 57) 7

Scored his third goal in as many games as a substitute to spark Derby’s comeback.

RAVEL MORRISON (FOR KNIGHT, 67) 6
