The final episodes of Stranger Things, the sci-fi show that made her a star, are currently airing on Netflix and the 18-year-old, right, has been confirmed to appear alongside Chris Pratt in a new £200m movie for the streaming giant. The Electric State will be set in an alternate future with Millie playing an orphan looking for her brother.

The big cats could vanish from the wild by 2050, experts warn. There could now be as few as 9,610 lions left, a Parliament­ary committee found. There were an estimated 200,000 lions in the 1970s and trophy hunting is blamed for up to 25% of those lost.
