Johnson was always a damaged personality

-

PRIME Minister Johnson has now demonstrated worldwide, earlier obvious to intelligent adults, that nothing was ever the fault of Boris, the ‘nation’s choice’ (inside his head), but that lesser mortals would conspire against him, using false accusations, from vindictive jealousy of his superior talents, forcing him to resign from his destiny.

Boris was always a damaged human personality, and it showed.

Britain’s gigantic problem is not Boris Johnson, but rather why 14 million adult voters should emotionally adore the ‘charisma’ of a dishonest clown as a celebrity idol, whom they mindlessly wished to follow, like the Pied Piper, having discarded any application of the brain to locate either genuine policies, beliefs or moral principles.

All Boris ever offered, eagerly seized by thoughtless voters, were slogans – ‘Get Brexit Done’, ‘Levelling Up’ – since beliefs cannot exist in Boris’s unstable brain.

Politics had been, for some, about sincere moral beliefs, opposed over centuries by conservatism, clinging to past injustices.

Media influences have created a completely new social culture out of sport and forms of entertainment, that politics is showbusiness, and a certain right wing brand of comedian is invited to explain the purposes of human life to the voting public.

This is the world of Boris, Donald Trump and Putin, as if any of them, three narcissistic, conceited, unstable personalities – megalomaniacs – could be suited to responsibility or integrity. It was never reasonable to expect it, and no one ever got it.

But that is the consequence of the huge multiplication of ignorant, populist, hard-right yobs, attacking all educated thought, since personal conceit persuades them that ‘we know best’.
