Bans, points and fines for road offenders

THE following people have all been sentenced by the courts for motoring offences.

■■Luke Boon, 29, of Springfield Road, Etwall, was fined £646 and ordered to pay £110 costs, a £65 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with five penalty points for speeding at 52mph in a 30mph limit in Derby Road, Melbourne, on May 27, 2021.

■■Nabeela Bashir, 29, of Porter Road, Normanton, was fined £369 and was ordered to pay £110 costs, a £37 victim surcharge and had her licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance, in Badminton Lane, Derby, on November 18, 2020.

■■Faraidon Osman, 42, of Charnwood Avenue, Littlover, was fined £440 and was ordered to pay £85 costs, a £44 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance in Maple Avenue, Littleover, on January 28, 2021.

■■ Kevin Bannister, 42, of Park Road, Duffield, was fined £270 and was ordered to pay £110 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points for speeding at 40mph in a 30mph limit in London Road, Derby, on May 4, 2021.

■■Cimeon Patterson, 29, of The Chase, Little Eaton, was fined £220 and ordered to pay £110 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for six months, due to repeat offending, for speeding at 57mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 Brian Clough Way, in Derby, on April 20, 2021.

■■Sukhraj Johal, 34, of Cranhill Close, Heatherton Village, was fined £138 and ordered to pay £90 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points for speeding at 57mph in a 50mph limit on the A52, Brian Clough Way, in Derby, on July 5, 2021.

■■Mohammed Islam, 29, of Harrington Street, Derby, was fined £138 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for speeding above the 50mph limit on the A38, near Alrewas, on October 20, 2020.

■■Luke Baker, 33, of The Flatts, Alrewas, near Burton, was fined £106 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points for speeding at 39mph in a 30mph limit in Burton Road, Alrewas, on September 7, 2021.
