Driver caught out speeding 4 times in 8 days

A DRIVER was snapped speeding on the A52 Brian Clough Way in Derby four times in eight days.

Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court heard Chloe Dean was caught on camera over the 50mph limit on August 23, 28, 29 and 30, last year.

The 20-year-old, of Mill Lane, Mickleover, was fined £200 and was ordered to pay £110 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for six months. The speeds recorded were 67, 68, 69 and 79mph.

The following drivers have also recently had their cases dealt with for speeding:

■■Katie Chatburn-Taylor, 24, of King Street, Burton, was fined £92 and given six points for speeding at 57mph in a 50mph limit on the A52, Brian Clough Way, in Derby, once on March 21 and again on March 29, 2021.

■■Sukhraj Johal, 34, of Cranhill Close, Heatherton Village, was fined £138 and given three points for speeding at 57mph in a 50mph limit on the A52, Brian Clough Way, in Derby, on July 5, 2021.

■■Mohammed Islam, 29, of Harrington Street, Derby, was fined £138 and given six points for speeding at above the 50mph limit on the A38, near Alrewas, on October 20, 2020.

■■Luke Baker, 33, of The Flatts, Alrewas, near Burton, was fined £106 and given three points for speeding at 39mph in a 30mph limit in Burton Road, Alrewas, on September 7, 2021.

■■Perjit Bhogal, 35, of Mostyn Avenue, Littleover, was fined £90 and given three points for speeding at above the 40mph limit in Ashby Road, Snarestone, on July 16, 2021.

■■Michael Foster, 69, of Pine Grove, Newhall, was fined £40 and given three points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Park Road, Newhall, on October 5, 2021.

■■Sukhjeevan Chohan, 37, of Ashby Close, Littleover, was fined £76 and given three points for speeding at 57mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 Brian Clough Way, in Derby, on May 12, 2021.

■■Kevin Bannister, 42, of Park Road, Duffield, was fined £270 and given three points for speeding at 40mph in a 30mph limit in London Road, Derby, on May 4, 2021.

■■Asif Gondal, 41, of Dale Road, Normanton, was fined £40 and given three points for speeding at 45mph in a 30mph limit in Broadway, Duffield, on March 25, 2021.

■■Connor Turner, 29, of Hilton Close, Long Eaton, was fined £100 and given three points for speeding at above the 70mph limit on the A50, near Uttoxeter, on July 18, 2020.
