VARI-ANGLE LCD
Another big change from the X-T3 is the multi-angle articulated LCD screen. While the LCD on the older camera employed a less conventional three-way tilting mechanism, the X-T4 uses a full vari-angle design found on many cameras today. This provides greater flexibility of motion, enabling the screen to be fully swivelled through 180 degrees so that it is forward-facing – a great help for vloggers or photographers wishing to shoot self-portraits. This dynamic hinge also enables the user to shoot at high and low angles by rotating the screen to face up or down at 90 degrees.
The LCD on the X-T4 has also received increased resolution, now offering 1.62 million dots, up from 1.04 million. In practice this makes judging image sharpness easier when viewing a magnified image, and is more capable of displaying the 26MP files the sensor is able to output.
