SENSOR

The 26.1MP sensor of the X-T4 is able to generate images with impressive levels of detail, thanks to the smaller APS-C format requiring a high photosite density. Files have a max resolution of 6,240x4,160 pixels.

TWIN SD CARD SLOTS

The X-T4 features two SD memory card slots, which are compatible with SDHC and SDXC formats. The camera accepts UHS-I, UHS-II and Video Speed Class V90 *1 types, as expected from a modern digital camera.

BATTERY LIFE

The camera makes use of a new Li-ion battery, the W235, which has a capacity of 2350mAh (compared with 1260mAh for the X-T3). This offers up to 500 shots in Normal mode, up from 390 on the X-T3, and approximately 600 shots in Economy mode.

CONTINUOUS SHOOTING MODE

The X-T4 can shoot in bursts of up to 15 frames per second, compared with 11fps on its predecessor, or a max of 30fps using the electronic shutter with 1.25x crop enabled.

AUTO WHITE BALANCE

There are three auto WB options. White Priority and Ambience Priority provide greater neutrality and warmer tones respectively under incandescent lighting, while full auto takes control of this decision.

FILM SIMULATION

You’ll find 18 film-simulation presets for various analogue styles. Such options include film favourites Velvia and Astia, along with multiple sepia, monochrome and bleach bypass filters, applied at the shooting stage.
