At the races

It’s in the air already – the glitz, the glamour and sense of occasion that can only be found at Hamilton Park Racecourse’s Saints and Sinners Racenight.

Singing superstar and heartthrob Ben Haenow will take centre stage tomorrow (Thursday) as the new 2016 season continues in its usual stylish fashion. One of the most exciting dates in the racing calendar and part of the Jordan Electrics Premier 5 events, guests will enjoy an evening of unbeatable racing and fabulous entertainment with a performance from the charttopping X-Factor winner. Fresh from his nationwide tour, Ben is sure to get pulses racing as the popular night continues its ongoing support for the Saints and Sinners charity.

Ben will be singing the songs from his self-entitled debut album including his pop hit, Second Hand Heart which featured American singing superstar Kelly Clarkston.

Thousands of guests attended last year’s Saints & Sinners Racenight when Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro wowed the crowd with an outstanding live performance.

Vivien Kyles, chief executive at Hamilton Park Racecourse, said:

“There’s something truly unique about our Saints and Sinners Racenight at Hamilton Park. It’s one of our most hotly anticipated nights of the year where visitors pull out all the stops to raise the style stakes year after year. The crowd is always a sea of glamorous guests dressed in the signature red and white colours.

“Glitz and style are always in good supply each year and we’re immensely proud to be supporting the Saints and Sinners charity, who we have worked with for many years. The night is one of the biggest events in the summer social calendar - and with a show stopping combination of racing and live entertainment from Ben – the crowd really are in for a treat.”

As well as a live performance from Ben, the action packed evening will also include a special DJ set from Capital FM and the £10,000 EBF Stallions Captain JC Stewart Fillies Handicap Stakes (Class 4) race.

The celebrations get underway at Hamilton Park Racecourse with gates opening at 3:30pm, when visitors can choose to be a saint or a sinner by purchasing a charitable red or white carnation, before the first race begins at 6pm.

Tickets from £19 when booked online in advance available now at www.hamilton-park.co.uk, or by calling 01698 283806.
