Church extends a warm welcome

Pop in for a snack after service

Eaglesham Parish Church are encouragin­g people to pop in for a service and a snack.

Aft er each s er vi c e t he group attend the Carswell Centre for tea or coffee and a catch up with friends - and hope to take the opportunit­y to meet new ones.

T h e P r a y e r Gro u p mee t s a t 9.30am each Sunday morning in the upper sanctuary of the Centre.

T h e y h o l d a s h o r t mi d wee k service each Wednesday morning in the Carswell Centre at 11am. Church Builders and Sunday morning crèche are in the Carswell Centre during the morning service.

The church’s holiday club, which gets underway next month, is open to primary-aged children on a firstcome first-served basis.

The group, for children who are currently in P1 to P7, r uns from Monday, August 1 to Friday, August 5 from 10am to 12.30pm.

There will be a pre-registrati­on session on Saturday, July 30 from 1 0 a m t o noon i n t he Car s wel l Centre.

The next outing of the Eaglesham Walking Group takes place today ( July 13).

The g ro up wi l l be t r av e l l i ng t o Fenwick t o walk f ro m t here through Crawfurdla­nd Estate to Dean Castle, Kilmarnock, and then returning to Fenwick by bus.

This is described by the group as a level walk, but some areas are usually damp underfoot.

They will leave from Mid Aboard at 10am.

If you wish to know more about their activities, or any other matter, one of the Duty Team at the church can be found at the entrance and will be delighted to help.
