Talent, of 20 Helensdale Court, Cambuslang was held in custody pending his appearance at Hamilton Sheriff Court. Assaulting his partner landed a Calderwood thug in the dock.
Ryan Wilkie (23) admitted seizing Lynsey Brannigan by the throat, placing her in a headlock and pushing her to the floor at his home address at 37 Bolingbroke on May 24, last year.
And Wilkie pled guilty to a threatening behaviour charge admitting shouting and swearing repeatedly at Ms Brannigan and his mother Catherine McName.
He also punched a door, pulled a door from its hinges, smashed a mobile phone and smashed bottles of alcohol on the floor.
He was admonished at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
