Lidl reopens with bakery
Lidl will tomorrow (Thursday) unveil a brand new state-of-the-art bakery at its St James’s Avenue store in Hairmyres following an eight week closure.
The addition to the store represents Lidl’s continued investment in the local community and forms part of the company’s expansion and improvement plans across the UK.
The new bakery will deliver an enhanced shopping experience and will enable local residents to buy freshly-baked pain au chocolat, goat’s cheese and pesto focaccia and all-butter croissants on a daily basis.
As well as adding a new bakery to the store, Lidl have refurbished the interior and adopted a premium looking muted grey palette to bring it more in line with their current look-and-feel.

“We are very excited to introduce this new bakery to our East Kilbride store look forward to serving our multi-award winning bakery products to the local community.”
