Sisters are doing it for the hospice
Fundraising event
Talented multiinstrumentalists the Ayoub Sisters are tuning up for the Kilbryde Hospice.
They are performing at a fundraising charity event at Hamilton Town House on Friday, September 9.
Sisters Sarah and Laura Ayoub recently thrilled the Royal Albert Hall, making their debut at Classic FM Live 2016 as winners of Global Media’s Big Music Project.
Chosen from 10,000 online performers, the pair were invited to Abbey Road Studios by Grammy awardwinning artist and producer Mark Ronson to record a new cover of his hit ‘Uptown Funk.’
Their upcoming concert in Hamilton, in aid of the hospice, is also being supported by an array of talented acts, including Woodhead Primary School Choir, Scottish tenor Martin Aelred, SoundSational Community Choir and tenor Christian Schneeberger.
The sisters said: “We are delighted to be supporting a charitable organisation which provides care for people with life-limiting illnesses. We hope that people will donate generously to aid this worthwhile cause.”
Community and event fundraiser for Kilbryde, Chloe Martin, expressed her delight that the hospice had been supported greatly by the acts involved in the concert.
She added: “We cannot thank the Ayoub Sisters, Woodhead Primary School Choir, Martin Aelred, SoundSational Community Choir and Christian Schneeberger enough for their generosity and kindness in choosing to support Kilbryde Hospice at our charity concert.
“We are absolutely delighted at having been chosen and look forward to a fantastic night of music! We would also like to express our thanks to PS Piano’s in Paisley who have kindly offered a baby grand piano for use at the concert.”
