Autumn tones can be your style inspiration

-

The world around us is bursting with autumnal hues — russets, golds, burnt oranges and deep greens — so why not take some inspiration from nature and add some rich colours to your wardrobe?

Nothing signifies the change of season more than donning a warm jacket. We adore the tailored lines of Marks & Spencer’s wool blend smart peacoat in olive green and French Connection’s runaway long coat in winter camel. While Principles by Ben de Lisi’s red military coat pops and can be purchased from Debenhams.

Snuggly jumpers are also a must, and Topshop’s batwing velvet sweatshirt in burgundy is one piece you’ll never want to take off, while Marks & Spencer has an awesome range of merino jumpers for all ages and Coast’s crisp white smith embellished knit top lets you sparkle. It’s also time to swap our shoes for boots, and we love Topshop’s blossom embroidered boots and Dune’s star embroidered block heel angle boots.

Legs need to be kept warm too and Oasis’ faux leather trim trousers will keep out the cold and add some glamour while H&M’s superstretch treggings come in an awesome range of colours.

To help you get ready for the colder months, why not enter into our competition to win a £50 EK gift voucher to spend in any one of EK East Kilbride’s fantastic shops?

This week’s lucky winner of our fantastic prize is Peter Sime, from Calderwood.
