We should all hail good Charlotte

They say a picture is worth a thousand words - but nothing beats getting up close and personal.

And that’s exactly what happened when I headed to the Charlotte Tilbury counter in House of Fraser.

I have mentioned this beautiful counter before but I had only seen it in pictures. And I have to say I was most impressed when I popped in for a visit. When you buy from Charlotte Tilbury, you really do feel like you are treating yourself to a little bit of glamorous luxury.

The packaging is beautiful and, I must say, the staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient.

I treated myself to theirWonder Glow beauty flash primer.

This little miracle in a bottle is amazing for tired, dull and dehydrated skin which ticked all the boxes for me. This is a life saver. You apply it before your foundation to illuminate the skin and it really works.

Next I got Light Wonder foundation, which gives a light coverage to illuminate the skin. I needed two layers and both products work beautifully together.

Lastly I got their miracle eye wand. One side has a serum to smooth the delicate eye area, the other side an illuminating concealer to brighten.

I love using them and am keen to go back and snap up one of their eye palettes and moisturiser which felt great and smelled like summer holidays.
