Some travellers chose to use the outing to indulge in a little “retail therapy”, starting in the Grassmarket; others to have a conducted tour of the Scottish Parliament and some a visit to the Palace of Holyrood House. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed the outing and president Chris Hyslop thanked the Findlay brothers and treasurer John Strachan for their efforts in organising the outing. The club’s next activity is a dinner in the Strathaven Hotel on Wednesday March, 29 followed by the AGM on Wednesday, April 19.
