EKYM kept their promotion hopes alive with a thumping victory over Milngavie Wanderers last midweek.
Cammy McCulloch scored from the penalty spot after only five minutes and Ricky Orr increased their lead after 10 minutes, knocking in a cross from McCulloch who added YM’s next two goals a few minutes later.
After the whirlwind start YM took their foot off the gas and Milngavie pulled a goal back before half time.
YM responded by introducing striker Ross McDonagh into the proceedings and certainly made an impact scoring four times with assists from Connor McCann, William Hastings, James Cameron and Craig Tocher .
Before the end Milngavie scored twice, much to the annoyance of YM who are conscious of goal difference in the final games coming in to play.
Meanwhile, YM lost 5-1 to league champions Broomhouse on Saturday.
YM now need to win their last league game against Glasgow Uni to be in with a chance of finishing second.
