Murder accused appears in dock
Murder accused David Shannon was fully committed for trial when he appeared in court yesterday.
The 27-year-old, from East Kilbride, is charged with the murder of Spencer Borland.
He gave no plea or declaration at Hamilton Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody.
Mr Borland, 41, was found dead in a flat in Campbell Place, The Murray, at around 5am on May 14. Police Scotland released the first picture of him last week.
