Sentence deferred

Sentence was deferred on a Hairmyres man accused of behaving in a threatening manner towards his ex-wife.

Christopher Smyth, 28, formerly of Eaglesham Court, admitted shouting and swearing on May 15 at their home.

Sentence was deferred until June 16 and bail was granted on the condition he doesn’t enter Eaglesham Road.
