16 COMPETITION Hurrah for Bank Holiday weekend!

Lots for families to do at centre

-

We all love May – not just because it means we’re edging ever closer to our summer getaway but because there are two Bank Holiday weekends.

And there’s no better way to celebrate this one than by heading to EK, East Kilbride.

With a wide range of stores open until 8pm on Thursdays and Fridays, it’s even easier to sneak in a shopping trip after work.

There’s also free parking after 5pm on Thursdays and Fridays, for up to three hours on Saturdays, and all day Sunday.

If you’re chomping at the bit to see ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge’ make a date to head to the Odeon this weekend to watch Captain Sparrow try to wriggle out of another tight spot.

For younger kids, the Odeon will be screening ‘Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience’ at 10 am and ‘Sing’ at 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday – and tickets are just £2.50pp.

If ice skating and top tunes make you smile then head to The Hub, EK on Sunday where Clyde 1’s Grant Thomson will be hosting a family-friendly ice disco from 2pm to 4pm. Normal skate hire and admission apply.

A holiday weekend wouldn’t be complete without eating out, so if you are planning a family meal at The Hub, EK remember to pick up a Dining Club card from customer services in Centre West to get up to 30 per cent off your food bill. Terms and conditions apply.

For more information on the ice disco and the Dining Club visit EKlife.co.uk.

Why not enter our competition to win a £50 EK, East Kilbride gift card?

To be in with a chance of winning, fill in the voucher with your name, address and telephone number and send your entry to us by Monday at noon.

Best of luck!
