Ladies get bowl rolling

The greens of Hunter Ladies Bowling Club are good to go after they officially opened for the new season.

Club president Sandra Luxton delivered the first jack of 2017 and there was a fantastic turnout to see her get the ball rolling.

Hunter Ladies BC secretary Anne Hughes said: “I would like to thank all the visitors who came along and also Gail from the LWBA for making our opening a success.

“Anyone wishing to join Hunter Ladies could come along on a Tuesday or Thursday at 6pm to Whitemoss Bowling Club, which is part of the adjoining John Wright Sports Centre, to get involved.”
