Owner Barry Livingstone said: “Soon after acquiring Hamilton palace it quickly became clear to us that along with creating a state of the art venue for the younger late night revellers there was a serious need to provide a similar experience for the over 30’s market.
“It was obvious that the existing club had fallen behind the times and was no longer conducive to modern day after dark drinking.
“We understand that the full ‘clubbing experience’ offered by Roc, with bottle to table service, booths and state of the art sound and lighting is not for everyone.
“It quickly became obvious that Lanarkshire needed an option where the more mature clientele could also enjoy themselves to the full in comfortable, bespoke surroundings.” The solution was Rumours. In essence Rumours is three venues under one roof.
There are large booths that can accommodate parties of eight to 10 or can be used by couples simply continuing their night out ater the bars and restaurants have closed.
There is a dedicated dancefloor serviced by a state of the art sound and light system, we know only too well that even the more mature clubber enjoys dancing the night away.
Barry went on: “The jewel in the Rumours’ crown is the dedicated Karaoke Room.
“Yes, you can now sing your heart out until 3am.”
The Karaoke Room can be hired out for private use and since launching Rumours has been inundated with enquiries for private karaoke parties.
“Our experienced staff have worked tirelessly creating unique cocktails and drinks menus to suit all taste,” beamed Barry.
“Our special drinks packages ensure that waiting at the bar is a thing of the past as we will serve your order straight to your table.
“We believe that we have given Hamilton and surrounding areas a venue to be proud of once again.
“Our mission is to make both Roc and Rumours a focal point in your night out a destination - the phrase ‘Nowhere else to go’ is history because now there’s Roc and Rumours.”
