Cricket is just a washout

Heavy rain wiped out the cricket fixture cards at the weekend with East Kilbride’s home clash with Kelburne cancelled.

The Torrance House side would have been keen to get the game played against the bottom team in the Western Premier League, following last week’s return to winning ways after four straight defeats.

However, the unseasonal weather means EK were unable to improve their league position and remain second bottom.

This weekend they travel to Dumfries hoping for better fortunes. The action starts at noon.
