Donald Trump has once again caused controvery with his comments on neo-Nazis in Charlottesville.
Far-right protesters clashed with counterdemonstrators and a young woman died after being struck by a vehicle.
However, American president Trump’s response to lay blame at both sides has caused anger – so the News took to the streets.
Anne Harrod from The Murray admitted she was concerned about the comments made by Trump, adding: “It’s really concerning that he is the man in charge of a country. It also worries me that he has been arguing with North Korea recently.”
Shopper Gary Pulley said he was stunned by some of the White House President’s outbursts since taking office.
He continued: “The things he comes out with just aren’t suitable for someone in that position.
“Whether he is right or wrong, or if people agree with him isn’t the point.
“He is a politician now and should know how how to act.”
Mary Pulley continued: “It’s scary, really scary. He doesn’t act like how a President should act.”
“I think he’s an idiot but he’s an idiot with a lot of power,” adds Paul McNeill.
“He seems to be egging North Korea to start a nuclear war. It’s got to be concerning that he is the guy with his finger on the big red button.”
