Schools are back and so are fabulous pictures

Hello and welcome to this week’s edition of the East Kilbride News.

You would need a face of stone not to raise a smile when turning to pages 14 and 15 of today’s paper.

Our popular ‘First Day At School’ feature is back and we have been overwhelmed with the response.

Parents have sent in images of their smiling youngsters looking smart and ready to learn.

Sent in a picture but can’t see your star student? Don’t worry – we will be printing more next week!

We are also getting in touch with primary schools across East Kilbride and Avondale and making arrangements to take those all-important P1 class pictures.

We will make sure that all parents are aware of when their child’s school will be featured in these pages over the coming weeks and can get their hands on a lovely little keepsake.
