Supervision after McDonald’s attack
A Westwood man was placed under supervision for nine months after pleading guilty to assaulting a man in McDonald’s.
Scott Llewellyn, of Whitehorse Walk, had thrown a tray and till at his victim at the Queensway fast food restaurant on December 29. He also admitted making threats of violence.
The 24-year-old was handed a nine-month supervision and conduct order at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
A 17-year-old co-accused, who cannot legally be named, was fined £270 for kicking a glass pane on the door of the restaurant causing it to crack. He was ordered to pay £150 of the fine to McDonald’s by way of compensation.
