Su­per­vi­sion after McDon­ald’s at­tack

A West­wood man was placed un­der su­per­vi­sion for nine months after plead­ing guilty to as­sault­ing a man in McDon­ald’s.

Scott Llewellyn, of White­horse Walk, had thrown a tray and till at his vic­tim at the Queensway fast food restau­rant on De­cem­ber 29. He also ad­mit­ted mak­ing threats of vi­o­lence.

The 24-year-old was handed a nine-month su­per­vi­sion and con­duct or­der at Hamil­ton Sher­iff Court.

A 17-year-old co-ac­cused, who can­not legally be named, was fined £270 for kick­ing a glass pane on the door of the restau­rant caus­ing it to crack. He was ordered to pay £150 of the fine to McDon­ald’s by way of com­pen­sa­tion.
