Octave Musical As part of Carmun-

nock Parish Church’s anniversary celebrations, a musical evening by ‘Octave’ is planed for Friday, October 27, in the Castlemilk Hall. There will be songs from Broadway musicals and pop music to suit everyone. Tickets are £6 each and include a glass of wine. Autumn Club Guest speaker for today’s gathering will be Walter Lee and his subject will be “Women in the RNLI”. On Wednesday, October 25, it will be the club’s Annual General Meeting. The Guild The Carmunnock Guild will welcome Irene Dick on Monday, October 16, to entertain them with “A Handful of Songs”. Members meet in the Reid Hall on Waterside Road at 2pm every Monday. Everyone is welcome, especially guests and new members.
