East Kilbride is set for a frighteningly good Halloween – and the News took to the streets to find out what some of the youngsters plan on doing for trick-or-treat fun this year.

Six-year-old Reilly McCluskey is looking forward to going out guising with pals as well as heading to his school disco – and he will be kitted out as his favourite footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mum Nicola will get the fake tan out to try and make her boy look exactly like the Real Madrid striker.

She told the News: “He’s really excited about it. We are going to dye his hair black as well!”

Smiling Reilly added: “People say I am as good as Ronaldo.”

Youngster Macy McGraw is planning to go out trick-or-treating dressed as a “fire fairy” with sister Mia , who will be dressed as a bumblebee.

Mum Emma said: “There are always a few good things on for the kids this time of year.”

David Stewart’s daughter Olivia is planning to go out on fright night dressed as a ladybird.

He said: “I’m sure she will go around the houses trick-or-treating.”

Westwood kid Sophie O’Reilly will be out on the ghoulish evening dressed a “goth bride” to get in on all the fun.

Dad Thomas said: “It’s a strange one because it will be a school night but I’m sure she will be out trick or treating.”
