Having a brew and a blether was the order of the day at St Mark’s Church in East Kilbride.

Friends and neighbours gathered at the Telford Road venue on Saturday for the monthly coffee morning.

Jill Benzies, who helps organise the events, said: “It gives us all a chance to spend time together and catch up on the news.

“The coffee mornings at St Mark’s are held on the last Saturday of every month, except December. On November 25, we’ll be having our Christmas coffee morning, including extra stalls, activities and a raffle.”
