CLUB’S 67TH

The Inner Wheel Club of Strathaven celebrated over six decades in the town with their birthday bash.

President Joan Duncan took the chair at the Strathaven Hotel and provided a delicious birthday cake to mark 67 years of the club.

She then introduced the speaker for the evening, district chairman Anne Morton, who congratulated the club on its anniversary and recounted her experiences as a member of the Inner Wheel organisation.

The president then finished with a message of encouragement to the club after which Mary Frew thanked her on behalf of the audience.
