Success atclub’s evening

They are back for a new season.

And the first night of the Greenhills & EK South Youth Club proved to be a great success.

Rev John Brewster from Greenhills Parish Church and East Kilbride South community police officers Colin Elliott and Barry O’Connor went along, together with some of the group’s new volunteers.

East Kilbride South councillor Archie Buchanan, who is the club leader, said: “We are now open every Thursday evening between 7pm and 9pm for any young person between the ages of 10 and 16 years of age from across East Kilbride.

“We offer pool, table tennis, badminton, computer games, music and a tuck shop, with free entry.”
